"DCC fitting, servicing and repairs from a fellow railway modeller"
DCC Fitting
From a simple drop-in of a chip through to installation of a sound chip of your choice. Triang, Hornby, Bachmann, Fia Trains, loco drive, tender drive, lighting, smoke.
Bachmann split chassis installation a speciality. “Stay Alive” capacitors can be fitted to most decoders to improve slow running of locos with limited wheel pickups or when running over insulfrog points.
Servicing and Repairs
I will always do my level best to get your old friend running again. A basic service costs £6.00 plus the cost of any parts used and postage & packing. Repairs are quoted on a case by case basis, it all depends on the problem, the availability of parts and the amount of time involved.
Motors (X04, X03)
You know your loco deserves it! – Only £16.00 inclusive of parts.
A fully refurbished X.04 (or X.03) motor for your classic Triang/Hornby loco!. You can’t buy new – these motors offer a cost effective solution!.
Simply send in your broken motor, complete with the payment and I will post out a fully working replacement as soon as possible.
